Savannah was beautiful. Our favorite part was taking long walks off of the main tourist area through the beautiful old homes and parks. So very Southern.
Oh, and eating.
First stop ~ Lunch at Paula Deen's restaurant. We heard horror stories about the long lines but luckily we walked right up 5 minutes before their last lunch seating and sat right down. YUM in capitals.
Pretty flower garden
RD. I love when he carries a backpack and lets me go "hands free" with no purse.
I loved the actual gas lamps the homes had instead of light bulbs. At night it made a flicker-y candle light on the streets. These people liked to leave theirs on all the time.
Classic Americana
The fountain in Forsyth Park
Kitty door
Pizza break
Beautiful mossy trees
The baby belly making an appearance for dinner.
Last stops: Hilton Head, Charleston, Chapel Hill, then home!
Love,
Chels
