Over the past 9 years we've gone to Oregon in the fall or the winter, never the summer. WHY DON'T WE GO IN THE SUMMER I keep asking my husband who is FROM OREGON?? Not a drop of rain, hot hot sunshine, and swimming??!!! Sorry cold, rainy, wet Oregon, but we may never meet again. I'm in love with summer in Oregon. Love.
This year we planned a blow out family trip with both of our families (minus Jake, who is all grown up now and has, like, responsibilities and stuff) in Portland and Sunriver. We surprised Pootie (once again) by showing up in her bedroom at 11pm and letting Duke wake her up. So confused that poor girl. Once she re-gained consciousness she was excited to say the least. We got her again a few days later when we said our goodbyes in the morning only to show up at her cabin in Sunriver later that afternoon. One of these days she's going to be on to us :) For now, I leave you with a whole bunch of photos from our first couple days. LOTS more to come once I work my way through them...
