New York City

We've started a yearly tradition of taking a family trip to NYC over my Birthday / Labor Day weekend.  This year we stayed 3 nights so we were able to do tons of exploring and not feel pressure to squeeze everything into 2 days.  Our daily routine ended up being early breakfast, find a new a park for Duke, lunch, stroller nap while Ritch and I had some shopping / grown up exploration time, another park, dinner, walk reeeeeaaalllyyy far back to our hotel, late to bed.  We walked a million miles and found the coolest parks (they are literally everywhere!) and ate lots of yummy food.  Here's a whole bunch of photos from our long weekend:

Dada and Duke on the train.  iPad is an essential travel accessory.

We spent an entire afternoon exploring the High Line.  It is my new favorite place in NYC.

We went through a lot of changes of clothes....

Central Park is never-ending!

The ferry back from a long day in Brooklyn (where I took no pictures??)

We stayed here

After the bubbles we ate some dinner and headed to the train station...leg weary and exhausted and thankful for our family weekend in the city.

Love,
Chels

  1. Those bubbles look INCREDIBLY fun. Also, I'm so happy some of the hippo shots of the three of you came out. These are all amazing and Duke is always so ready for his glamourshots (i.e. at the highline, LOL!)
