I know I say this every time, but this tiny human is growing and changing before our very eyes. It is amazing.
Duke is officially 3 months (or 12 weeks) old. He is my little buddy and we are together pretty much 24 hours a day. I eat, sleep and breathe baby Duke.
The biggest milestone of the last two weeks is that he rolled over! There we were, having some tummy time on his mat and all of a sudden he's on his back. I thought, "this must have been an accident". Nope. He did it 5 times in a row and now rolls over every day. He's so cute when he gets his little butt moving to get some momentum before the big roll.
He is growing so fast and quickly outgrowing his clothes. Sadly we missed the boat on several 3 month outfits that I thought were still too big and all of a sudden don't fit at all.
He is still his very best in the morning and flashes us that huge gummy smile like it's his job at 7am. No, he is not sleeping through the night. He's still hungry at least twice, although he seems to be going a little bit longer between feedings.
He is pretty much only happy when being held so we have started quite a collection of baby carriers in our house.
The funniest thing in Duke's life is when I smooch his belly and his toes or when his dada shakes his arms and makes funny faces.
He has discovered his hands and arms and they are constantly in his mouth. He loves to lick his wrist like a kitten.
He's beginning to grasp toys and will hold them in his hands for short periods of time. He seems to favor his left hand so we are wondering if he'll be a lefty like his dada.
Baby boy, your little coos and goos, your big gummy smile and your growing round buddah belly are my world right now and I couldn't be happier about it.
Love,
Chels
