Dear Ruby James,
I know you are only 2, but you are really, really good at picking out presents. Baby Duke was so excited to see a box from you on the doorstep and we had so much fun opening it to discover what was inside.
Does your mom read this to you in funny voices? I bet she cracks you up.
Duke loves his new shirt and he's trying to wear it as many times as he can before his belly pops right through it. I think you have a dress like this with owls on it, don't you?
Were your parents laughing their pants off that they sent us a card that said "womb juice"? I bet your daddy thought it was especially funny.
Duke loves his new friend Chan Pie Gnon, the close relative of Sophie the Giraffe. They live right next together on Duke's changing table and he smiles at that cute little squeaky noise. I bet he'll be cracking up at it in no time!
Oh, and tell your parents that your new little brother Oliver is pretty darn cute. They did a really good job getting him here and we bet you love your new little friend so much. Now we need to move to Seattle so Duke and Oliver can be best friends just like your daddy and Duke's daddy.
